Enhance your search with PatBase Thesaurus and non-Latin searches

Minesoft’s Rob Poolman has recently added two new video tutorials, demonstrating the functionalities of PatBase Thesaurus and showing how to search in non-Latin languages.

In the guide to PatBase Thesaurus, Rob Poolman explains how you can enhance your search by identifying and adding synonyms, key words, acronyms and translations of a particular term. PatBase Thesaurus is new feature of the PatBase database. The multi-disciplinary thesaurus combines Chemical Search, Language Explorer, Dictionary and Thesaurus into one easy-to-use product.

In the guide to searching non-Latin languages, Rob Poolman explains how tools in PatBase can help overcome language barriers when searching for non-Latin text; making it easier for our users to access patent information from countries like China, Japan, Korea, Russia and Thailand. Every non-Latin text is machine translated into English, ensuring that our users don’t miss out on relevant patents.

To view these video tutorials, you must be subscribed to PatBase. If you’re interested in taking part in a free two-week trial, please visit www.discoverpatents.net.
